Do you love to create breads, cakes, candies, cookies, desserts, muffins and/or pies? If so, the Boone County Extension Homemakers Open Show Debbie Kremer Creative Cookery is perfect! 

Each year the theme is chosen by the pervious year’s contestants. This year's 2026 theme is STRAWBERRY! 

This event is FREE and Open to ALL Boone County Residence and BCEH members. 

To enter your product may be made from scratch or a box mix may be part of the ingredients. The total appearance of the product will be taken into consideration, including uniform color, even shape, and pleasant eye appeal. Strawberry is this year's theme and must be present in the baked part of the product or in the candy, giving it a well blended characteristic flavor. The product should reflect internal quality, including moist, tender crumb, and a fine texture.
